Sherman Alexie, writer of short stories, poetry and novels, humorist and Native American activist is the featured speaker for this Cultural Life Series event. Alexie’s many works include “The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven” (later made into the movie Smoke Signals) and “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.”
