A&S DVP Lecture: Eric Deggans

Please join the John Hazen White College of Arts & Sciences for our 2017-2018 Distinguished Visiting Professor (DVP) lecture featuring Eric Deggans.

Mr. Deggans became NPR’s first full-time TV critic in 2013, appearing on Morning EditionHere & NowAll Things Considered, and various NPR podcasts and has recently joined MSNBC/NBC News as a contributor and media analyst. He has lectured or taught journalism at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, Indiana University, Harvard, UPenn’s Annenberg School for Communications and many other colleges and universities across the country.  His writing has appeared in websites and publications including New York Times online, POLITICO,  the Los Angeles Review of Books, and in 2009,  Deggans was named  one of Ebony magazine’s “Power 150,” a list of influential Black Americans.
