This qualification covers the key grape varieties grown and the styles of wine produced around the world, as well as the production of spirits and liqueurs. In this seven week class you will learn the WSET systematic approach to tasting wine that will help you assess wines in a structured format. This class is recommended for those in the retail, hospitality or wholesale areas of the wine and spirits industry who are interested in obtaining professional certification, as well as wine enthusiasts wishing to expand their knowledge and gain a broad view of wines produced around the world. To receive the WSET Level 2 Award Certificate in Wine & Spirits, you will need to successfully pass a 50 question multiple choice exam. Class will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-8:30pm. Dates: March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16; Final exam held on April 23 6-7pm.
