Take your knowledge and skills to the next level with a camp experience of a lifetime-designed for the next generation chef! Johnson & Wales University's Collegiate Culinary Camp is specially designed for college-ready teens who want to discover all that the food industry has to offer. Classes will combine instruction in both culinary and the baking and pastry arts. You will not only learn fthe fundamental techniques of cooking/baking, but the science behind it. Discover global cuisines and the importance of food and agriculture in our world. Learn about the farms that grow our food, and the importance of nutrition and sustainable practices, as we educate the future generation of culinary professionals. This camp will include education through hands-on cooking and instruction, demonstrations, presentations by experts in the field, as well as smaller class sizes for more advanced instruction. The class will run June 25-29, 2018.
